I was finally able to put my rain cape to the test this summer in Brittany. The weather was rainy, and my cape served its purpose well: it was light, practical to stow in your backpack, and above all effective against this light rain that lasted all day.
I did notice a little moisture on my neck, but it was very light.
The best thing about it is that it dries quickly.

Superb raincoat! I'm used to wearing thicker, heavier fabrics (even in the rain), so I was a bit apprehensive about the thinness of this fabric. In the end, I'm very convinced; and it's truly waterproof (not like some "cotton gabardine" that receives a treatment). And yet the fabric looks very solid.

I'm 1m70 for 56kg. The "S" fits me perfectly, whether in shoulder width, sleeve length or overall length... just the way I like it! The cut is really elegant, which is what I was looking for. I don't like hoods, I always carry an umbrella when it rains, and it was hard to find a real raincoat + trench coat. With Flotte, problem solved! What's more, we've got the whole ethical and eco-responsible approach behind us, making the "French" work.

I'm fully satisfied!

NB: as the fabric is thin, it doesn't cover cold temperatures as well as other imper. Good for mid-season, but winter rains will require more layers underneath.

Satisfied with the purchase of this raincoat. It's soberly made, with a straight cut and no elastic at the waist, and the snap fastener and pocket fasteners. I like the fact that there's no slit in the lower back. And the cuffs with tabs and snaps.
