At Flotte, from the start, we took on the challenge of manufacture our rain jackets and windbreakers in 100% recycled fabric in France.
Our will? Participate in the reindustrialization of the textile sector in France, always with a greener approach. It was a journey strewn with pitfalls but we were able to meet the challenge ! We take you to the heart of our partner factory to discover behind the scenes of our relocation.

It is the fruit of 3 years of work, welcome Bonne Nouvelle ! Inspired by the famous work jacket, it is made from a 3-layer fabric: waterproof, windproof and breathable. Made from 100% recycled polyester, this unisex and urban jacket will match all your outfits. Its functional details make it practical and modular.

Waterproof
A recycled polyester fabric is resistant to 10,000 mm water column, enough to keep you dry all day in moderate rain.
Windproof and waterproof
An ultra-light, breathable jacket that protects against wind and weather.
3 breathable layers
A hard-wearing fabric with 3 technical, waterproof and breathable layers for long-lasting protection against wind and rain, and optimum comfort.
Removable hood
Practical and functional, the jacket has a detachable hood. A practical way to enjoy fine weather without worrying about showers.
12 recycled bottles
Protecting yourself from the rain is all well and good, but doing so while protecting the planet is even better. The aim: to transform our household waste into a source of high value-added raw materials.
Certified recycled fabric
Made from plastic bottles, a certified 100% recycled polyester fabric manufactured in Asia, where the know-how to make it resides.
Global Recycled Standard
GRS is a voluntary international standard that establishes criteria for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and restrictions on chemical composition.
Oeko-Tex® Standard 100
A fabric controlled at every stage of processing: raw materials, yarns, dyeing. It contains no chemicals harmful to health.

C'est un véritable défi pour nous. Produire en France et utiliser des matériaux de qualité et respectueux de l'environnement représentent un certain coût. Mais on est convaincus que cela vaut le coup et qu'ensemble on peut faire bouger les choses. Ce projet qui nous tient à cœur, on souhaite le réaliser à vos côtés. C'est pourquoi, on a lancé notre campagne de crowdfunding sur Ulule.
This crowdfunding campaign was used to contribute to initial production costs, such as the purchase of materials, prototype manufacturing and quality testing. It thus contributes to more ethical and environmentally-friendly fashion, and also to the circular economy by encouraging the transformation of recycled materials into quality products.
Yes, our campaign was a real success! Thanks to the support of our community, we've reached 300% of our initial target. This not only enables us to launch production, but also to participate in the reindustrialization of the textile sector in France, always with a greener approach.
